What We Have
PLYWOOD
Plywood is a material manufactured from thin layers or “plies” of wood veneer that are glued together with adjacent layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another. It is an engineered wood from the family of manufactured boards which includes medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board (chipboard).
MANUFACTURING
Best quality woods are sorted out from the market and peeling at high quality machines in our factories with specified thickness of 1.4mm, 1.6mm, 1.8mm and 2mm layers called veneer. After chemical treatment it is drying out below 6% moisture content. Then it will go for taping and spreading glue. It will set in layers for hot press according to the specified thickness. After processing it will cut in automatic to the industry standard sizes.
APPLICATIONS & USE
Plywood is used in many applications that need high-quality, high-strength sheet material. Quality means resistance to cracking, breaking, shrinkage, twisting and warping. Plywood is also used as an engineering material for stressed-skin applications. It has been used for marine and aviation applications. It can be used for floors, walls and roofs in house constructions, musical instruments sports equipment’s etc.
ADVANTAGES
Plywoods are extremely uniform resistance and does not contract, swell and warp. It also has Anti-tear properties. Plywoods are available in relatively large sizes which makes it useful for many purposes. Easy construction of curved surfaces plywood allows the conservation of wood without the residues of sawing Economical and effective utilization of figured wood. Dense woods can be sliced and bonded into plywood panels for use in furniture construction whereas furniture fabricated from solid timber would be far to heavy.
